In times of struggle, as our minds become fogged due to lack of sleep, continued stress, or just facing too many things that need to be done, reminding oneself “one at a time” is essential. The mind will again try to start racing, edging you on towards panic again. “One at a time.” A marathon: one step at a time. Recovery: one day at a time. Sickness: one moment at a time.
